What it is
A football party where everyone plays. Skills stations warm everyone up, then teams play short matches and finish with a dramatic penalty shootout. A local football coach can run the whole thing.
Plan ahead
- Two weeks before: book a park area, sports hall or coach. Buy bibs, cones and pop-up goals.
- One week before: order medals or trophies for every player.
- The day before: mark a pitch with cones.
Activities
Skills stations
- Dribble: zig-zag through cones.
- Pass: pass through small cone gates to a partner.
- Shoot: score in a goal with targets hanging in the corners.

Every child takes a penalty; the birthday child goes last. Swap the goalkeeper every few kicks.
