What it is

A calm, feel-good party: a private yoga class for all levels, then a fresh, colourful brunch. Popular for a relaxed hen morning, a milestone birthday or a girls’ weekend.

Plan ahead

  • Three weeks before: book an instructor for a private class. Tell them about the group’s experience and any injuries or pregnancies.
  • One week before: ask guests to bring a mat or buy/hire some; plan the brunch.
  • The day before: prep granola, chop fruit and bake muffins.

The class

A gentle vinyasa or hatha flow for mixed abilities, about 60 minutes, ending with savasana (relaxation) and an eye pillow for each guest.

Smoothie bar

Frozen berries, banana, spinach, mango, oat milk, yogurt and nut butter. Guests pick a combination.

Brunch

  • Yogurt and granola bowls with toppings
  • Avocado toast with chilli and lime
  • A big vegetable frittata
  • Pastries and fruit
  • Coffee, herbal tea and mimosas for those who want one

Tips

  • Have water and towels ready.
  • Offer modifications for beginners and pregnant guests.
